Satish Tamboli
US-Asia Ventures was founded by Satish Tamboli. He has over 28 years of experience in global Telecom infrastructure covering private equity investments, business development, strategic planning, engineering, and operations. He has been an angel investor and mentor to several start-up companies in U.S. and Asia.

As the Director of Telecom, Media, and Technology investments at Emerging Markets Partnership (now EMP Global) he was instrumental in investing over US$500 million in leading mobile cellular operators, cable MSOs, media companies, broadband service providers, and internet infrastructure companies in Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa. EMP Global manages about $ 6 billion for institutional investors and high net worth individuals.

Previous roles included : Manager of R&D Projects at International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (INTELSAT) where he co-led the design and global deployment of their Satellite Switched TDMA Network and developed strategic plans for broadband evolution. Product Engineer for MOS memory chips RAMS at Texas Instruments, Houston.
